FormPilot (“the App”) is provided by Shai Shamir (“we,” “us,” or “our”). FormPilot lets you import, fill, sign, and share PDF forms on your iPhone and iPad.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use the App.

Your Documents Stay on Your Device

FormPilot is designed to work offline. The PDF forms you import, the information you type into them, and your saved signature are stored locally on your device only. We do not upload, transmit, read, or store the contents of your documents, and we never share them with anyone.

• Forms you open from Files, Photos, the camera scanner, paste, or the share sheet are processed entirely on your device.
• Field detection, filling, signing, and PDF export all happen on-device.
• Your saved signature is kept on your device for reuse and is never sent to us.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

To help us understand how the App is used and to fix problems, we use limited analytics and crash reporting services from Google Firebase. These services never receive the contents of your documents.

• Analytics (optional): We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated information about how the App is used (for example, which features are most popular). This helps us decide what to improve. Analytics data does not include personally identifiable information or any document content.
• Crash Reporting (automatic): We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect technical details if the App crashes (such as device type, operating system version, and crash logs). This data is used only to diagnose and fix problems and does not include document content.

You can manage your consent for Analytics in the App's settings at any time. Crash reporting runs automatically, but it only processes technical, non-personal data.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect, store, or share the contents of your forms, documents, or signature.
• We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
• We do not share any user information with third parties beyond the analytics and crash-reporting services mentioned above.

Future Features (Cloud Sync)

We are planning to add optional cloud sync in a future version so you can access your forms across devices. This feature is not yet available in the current version of the App, and no document data leaves your device today. Before cloud sync is released, we will update this Privacy Policy to explain exactly what is stored, where, and how it is protected, and it will remain something you choose to turn on.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

We are committed to protecting children's privacy and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

For children under 13:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
• Analytics data collected is anonymous and aggregated only
• Crash reports contain only technical device information, no personal data or document content
• We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to provide personal information
• Parents can contact us to review, delete, or stop further collection of their child's information

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

Data Retention

• Document data: Your forms, entries, and signature are retained on your device until you delete them or remove the App; they are never stored by us.
• Analytics data: Anonymous, aggregated analytics data is retained by Firebase according to their standard data retention policies (typically 14 months for user-level data).
• Crash data: Crash reports are retained for troubleshooting purposes and automatically deleted after issue resolution, typically within 90 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Opt out: Disable analytics collection at any time through the App's settings
• Delete: Remove your documents and signature at any time, or delete the App to remove all locally stored data
• Access: Request information about what data we collect (though it is anonymous and non-personal)
• Contact: Reach out to us with any privacy concerns or questions

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
