My Cube Keyboard (“the App”) is provided by Shai Shamir (“we,” “us,” or “our”). My Cube Keyboard is a custom iOS keyboard extension for typing WCA cube move notation.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use the App.

Information We Do Not Collect

My Cube Keyboard runs entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information, and the App contains no accounts, no sign-in, and no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or location.
• We do not use analytics, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or any tracking technologies.
• We do not share any user information with third parties.

No Full Access, No Network Access

My Cube Keyboard never asks for "Full Access" in iOS Settings. Without Full Access, iOS does not allow a keyboard extension to reach the network at all — so nothing you type, and nothing about how you use the keyboard, can be transmitted anywhere. This is enforced by Apple's operating system, not just a setting we choose.

Data Stored on Your Device

To remember your preferences, the App saves a small amount of information locally on your device only (using the operating system's standard on-device storage, shared between the app and the keyboard extension):

• Notation style: whether you prefer official WCA wide-move notation (Rw, Uw) or the informal shorthand (r, u).
• Spacing mode: automatic or manual spacing between moves.
• Input style: long-press modifiers or sticky toggle keys.

This data never leaves your device, is not sent to us, and is removed if you delete the App.

How the Keyboard Works

The App works fully offline. It does not connect to any server we operate and does not transmit any data off your device — typing, puzzle selection, and settings all happen locally.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

We are committed to protecting children's privacy. My Cube Keyboard is designed to be safe for users of all ages and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

For children under 13:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
• The App has no accounts, chat, social features, or user-generated content
• The App contains no advertising and no in-app purchases that would collect personal data
• We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to provide personal information
• Parents can contact us with any questions about their child's use of the App

Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing about a child that we can access or retain.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete: Remove all locally stored settings at any time by deleting the App from your device
• Access: Ask us about our data practices (though we collect no personal, identifiable data)
• Contact: Reach out to us with any privacy concerns or questions

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
